Teresa Nguyen is Healthy Mind’s community initiatives coordinator, supporting operations and logistics for the community initiatives team across Tulsa and Oklahoma City.

Before joining Healthy Minds, she completed a Tulsa Service Year fellowship at Family and Children's Services' Women in Recovery program, where she served as a housing equity analyst. In this role, she consolidated sober and transitional housing resources across Oklahoma and collaborated with local property managers to expand housing opportunities for justice-involved women.

Outside of her work at Healthy Minds, Teresa volunteers with the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of the Southern Region, planning leadership retreats and conferences for emerging Vietnamese leaders and college students in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. She served as the family programming director for its Leadership Summit XIV and logistics captain for its Camp Legacy 11. Teresa also serves on the City of Tulsa's Asian Affairs Commission's AANHPI Leadership Roundtable, contributing to initiatives and discussions that impact Asian American communities in Tulsa.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with minors in early intervention and sociology from the University of Tulsa.
