Tane Webb is the substance use policy fellow at Healthy Minds, where he focuses on developing data-driven, evidence-based strategies to address the opioid and methamphetamine crises in Oklahoma.
Passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights, Tane equips policymakers and community leaders with the tools they need to make informed decisions that strengthen communities. He leads initiatives related to substance use disorder policy and facilitates the Zero Overdose learning community, a collaboration of Tulsa-based partners dedicated to eliminating overdose deaths.
With over six years of experience in legislative advocacy, policy development, and public health research, Tane has a robust background in navigating the intersection of public health and policy. Before joining Healthy Minds, he served as public policy manager at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, where he championed advocacy efforts addressing food insecurity. Prior to that, Tane worked as the committee director for the Joint Committee on Public Health at the Massachusetts Legislature, where he analyzed public health legislation and served as a policy advisor.
Tane holds a master’s degree in public health from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University.
