
Natalie Shumway is Healthy Minds' integrated care manager. In her role, she supports the Oklahoma Integrated Care Resource Center with technical assistance and training to help clinics across Oklahoma implement integrated care and the Collaborative Care Model.
Natalie is enthusiastic about enhancing community health and wellbeing through research and public health initiatives. Before joining Healthy Minds, Natalie managed a statewide research study evaluating the health impact of the Double Up Oklahoma Program and coordinated the OU Food First Pharmacy, advancing efforts to integrate food security screening and response protocols at an OU Health clinic.
As part of the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, she led a client-driven health and wellness project with Lindsey House, a non-profit transitional housing organization in Tulsa serving single mothers and children.
Natalie also previously coordinated programs focused on children’s mental and behavioral health, including the Mental Health Interventions and Novel Therapeutics (MINT) Program and the Advancing Child Competencies by Extending Supportive Services (ACCESS) Program at Florida International University’s Center for Children and Families.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Natalie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Oklahoma.
