September 26, 2021
Mental health struggles for children and youth in Oklahoma have surged to historic levels with the unique traumas of the pandemic era, bringing far-reaching and potentially generational consequences to health care, education and beyond.
On Friday, Sept. 24, Healthy Minds hosted a free virtual Mental Health Talks forum featuring a panel of experts who discussed the state of children’s mental health in the pandemic era and what our state can do to address the emerging issues. Panelists included: Stacie Maze (Red Rock Behavioral Health Services), Gabrielle Jacobi (OK Policy Institute), and Cynthia Mooney (Mental Health Association Oklahoma).
