To be considered for a fellowship, candidates must submit all of the following:
The writing sample is an opportunity for candidates to present an authentic representation of themselves (interests, ability, and style) and give a sense of their potential ability to utilize their talents and skills in our organizational framework. An ideal sample would focus on a topic relevant to Healthy Minds’ work and be approximately five pages – longer is fine, but please do not submit anything over 10 pages. Much of our work is intended for a general audience (for example, policymakers, community leaders, and service providers), and we use APA style.
To get a better sense of the types of writing we do and our style/identity, we recommend candidates scan some of our previous work.
