Vy Dinh is community and systems analyst at Healthy Minds, where she leads the organization’s data collection and analysis efforts to identify Oklahoma’s most pressing mental health needs and gaps in treatment services in communities across the state.

In her role, Vy also provides technical assistance and evaluation services for grants awarded to behavioral health providers, especially federal grants from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Her work as an evaluator helps organizations assess the challenges they face and develop tailored solutions to address these needs effectively, ultimately improving patients’ outcomes and access to care. She also contributes to Healthy Minds’ original research and policy publications with relevant data insights and analysis.  

Before joining Healthy Minds in 2022, Vy’s research experience included COVID-19 vaccination hesitancy and examining the allocative efficiency of federal aid for health systems.

A member of the Oklahoma Public Health Association, Vy holds a master’s degree in public health with an emphasis in epidemiology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a bachelor’s degree in chemical biosciences from the University of Oklahoma.
